| DRYCON® is a dry bottom ash extraction system which extends the bottom ash extraction product portfolio, that gives the following advantages: |
- No Need for Water: No water for ash cooling and more important no water treatment at all is necessary, which eliminates investment and reduces operational & maintenance cost and provides additional space inside and outside the power station.
- Increase in Efficiency: By the additional introduction of hot air, more thermal energy is made available for the steam generation process.
- Additional Revenue from Bottom Ash Utilisation: Milled to a fine grain size the Bottom Ash can be sold together with the Fly Ash in the Cement Industry.
- Enhanced Ash Quality: The unburned carbon of the bottom ash will be reduced.
- Reduction Ash Quality: Due to the air intake, the fine ash, also produced by the re-burning process, will be sucked into the boiler and discharged as Fly Ash
